When Bailey’s mom contacted me at the wee hours of the night, I could tell she was up at it, looking for the perfect photographer for her daughter’s wedding. This was extremely important to their family to have someone create the perfect story. I was honored that she wrote me, complimented my work, and wanted to choose me for Bailey’s wedding. There’s a lot that goes into finding the right photographer, and when I found out more about Bailey and Ryan, I knew I could document the perfect story through photos that they would look back on for many years to come.
As soon as I met Bailey, I could see the excitement on her face as we walked through her timeline for her big day. The butterflies were flowing and so was the Dr. Pepper and Reese’s Pieces that Ryan surprised her with, just moments before they exchanged vows. It’s the little things like this that make love so special. He didn’t have to buy her jewelry or anything fancy, but that he knew exactly how to put a smile on her face with the little things that create happiness. I mean, who doesn’t like Dr. Pepper and Reese’s!?!?
Now for my favorite part…..FIRST LOOK!
Probably one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer, are the first looks! Bailey wanted to do a special First Look with her Dad, and the moment did not disappoint. It was a magical and a once in a lifetime moment that Dad and Bailey, would never forget. He has seen her with a heart filled joy and held her when she cried. He has logged many years focused on her happiness, worries, and he dreams only for the best. She has shared countless stories with him, celebrated her wins and sought out his wisdom during her losses. Bailey walked out on the deck, and as he turned around seeing his daughter for the first time in her beautiful wedding gown, tears of joy stream down their cheeks. A father-daughter first look is my favorite pat of the wedding day! Having this precious moment together before the wedding festivities started helped build excitement for walking down the aisle.
Bailey and Ryan were one of the most fun couples that I have had the opportunity to shoot. They are young and all in for each other. You can see the playfulness and love when they are around each other. There wasn’t a better place Bailey or Ryan would rather be than exchanging vows and becoming life partners. The way they would look at each other in the eyes, made you see how truly lucky we are to have that special someone in our lives. I wish these two a long happy life back in Arkansas!
